Levant Fire & Rescue Department 



Levant Fire & Rescue Dept is a volunteer service that proves 24-7 Fire Protection and Non-Transport Medical Services to the Town of Levant, Maine. The town has a contract with Northern Light Medical Transport of Bangor, Maine to provide patient transport with a staffed ambulance at Levant’s Station.



We serve about 6,000 residents with a coverage area of 46 square miles.

 

Our department is made up of a Chief who is hired by the Town Manager & Selectmen. An Assistant Chief, two Captains, four Lieutenants, and a Fire Warden who are all appointed by the Chief. In all we have 31 active members.

 

Levant Fire & Rescue has an agreement with the towns of Hermon, Carmel, Stetson and Etna to respond automatic to all Wildland & Building. We will respond to any town that request’s our assistances!
